This episode
sees Richard interview Kevin who is a master butcher and quizzes him on all
sorts of things about meat. Richard and Kevin talk about meat quality, the
sources of meat, slaughter of animals, the different cuts, the best value,
animal care plus much more.
Kevin has
over 40 years experience as a butcher and has worked all across the country. Kevin
has been picked for Wales to cut meat at the NEC and competed in big
competitions against butchers from other countries.
Other things discussed
on the show include supermarket value meat and packaged meat compared to local
meat from the butchers, how to cook the perfect sausages and burgers, the
difference between traditional butchers and family butchers and much more.
